The train ride north

Saint Mary's Cathedral Edinburgh

We ended up staying at a converted church into hostel the first night we arrived.

On the ferry

Choc full of Brits returning from holidays.

Boulogne

Driving to the Boulogne ferry.

Back Again

The rosemary bush.

Just back from a little over a month's stay in the Limousin area of France.  Currently in Edinburgh, waiting to head off to the Isle of Mull for the summer.  Here's a few pictures from the last month. These ones are of the house and outbuildings.

Prospect

The snowdrops are pretty much everywhere.

Hey guys, guess what? New blog site really is in order, I really jumped that gun. I really can't have a Danywenallt site whilst living in France yet again. More of that soon.

Great Oak Glass at Prospect

The chaotic and fantastic glass studio at Prospect. Our guy is called Bill Bleasdale.
Vegan coleslaw.
The sugar and the rice made friends haha!

More of Mac

Mac-ing clock tower.
Foxy doorknocks.

Seedy Sunday

Seedy Sunday happens once a year in Mac, where everyone collects the seeds from their farms and gardens (seed savers!) and congregates in Mac to chat, eat, strum, and swap seeds. We scored carrots, cabbage, and primroses that afternoon.

Welsh Valleys

More and the end of Prospect

Prospect

Harry and Pippin the lovable resident Welsh ponies.

Prospect

This is Prospect Orchard, and our messy caravan we stayed in. I just managed to get it on it's worst day, but usually it's very nice and cozy. Wwoofing is a ridiculous name for the work but it was a good stay. I made little blanket for apple trees among other things.

The splendor of Danywenallt

Danywenallt, the place that was to have been my new home. Lovely and lonely, and not mine. Thankfully.

Hereford's Training Station

Farewell to Llany

Hello rest of the world! More changes of the great plan. Wales is to be fin by Monday(tomorrow) and me, my other, and my bag are taking ourselves to live in the Dordogne in France. To commemorate the dear time spent in dear Wales(which I love to death already and hope to come back to sometime) here's the pictures of the last week and a half.

Welcome to Milk Wood.

I was thinking of late that 'Sous le ciel de Paris' was really getting inappropriate for where I am now traveling, so, as I'll be Wale-ing it until September, a new blog was in order. Danywenallt is to be my home until the fall, a very pretty, very middle of nowhere, just by Talybont-on-Usk village in the Brecon Beacon hills kind of place. Comments are always read and enjoyed and laughed at so please be free with your words. Keep reading, I hope to be more reliable with posting and pictures.
